A Cheltenham Christmas with a Banksy Twist
Bring a little creativity and local character to your Christmas greetings with this unusual collection of Christmas cards featuring artwork by Cheltenham artist Brian Crosby.
Inspired by Banksy’s famous Spy Booth mural, which appeared in Cheltenham in 2014, the illustration captures three mysterious agents listening in on a traditional British telephone box.
Brian has given the recognisable street art scene a festive makeover, with snow falling across the figures, a wintry grey backdrop and a warm glow from the telephone box. An elegant gold “Merry Christmas” greeting completes the design.
The original Banksy mural became one of Cheltenham’s most talked-about pieces of street art, making this festive interpretation a particularly memorable choice for those with a connection to the town.
Combining contemporary street art with traditional Christmas charm, these cards are perfect for anyone who appreciates British art, local history or a Christmas card that’s a little out of the ordinary.
